Meet JakeJoy Mulyk
Guiding your recovery from narcissistic, toxic or unhealthy relationships from childhood to current situations.
Masters in Counselling psychology, registered CCC, and with ACTA in Alberta. I have specific training in Trauma with the use of Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT and a certificate in 'recovery from narcissism and gaslighting abuse'. Our work together will consist of talk therapy and when helpful, extra exercises in: mindfullness & breathing strategies plus other somatic exercises.
I always make notes you can see and invite you to write or draw in session so communication is open. A big part of my work is helping clients work through shame from a pattern of unhealthy relationship patterns.

"Before Jake Joy was helping her psychotherapy clients carve out a path to healing, she was creating art.
'When I first started painting, I felt so inspired by what was coming out onto the canvas,' Jake shares, adding that when you first start something new you’re often 'going off of your own interpretation, your own desires, your own passions.'"
